MSG Spotter is a real time analytical tool, analyzing data streams, integrated in a powerful notification service. The product is developed for the maritime industry. Easy to define “watch lists”, enable you to specify your situation of interest. This could be anything and anywhere. Are you interested in the status change of aids for navigation, like buoys, wind, currents and sea-state in a certain area or on the trajectory of your planned voyage. Or just define an area (by powerful geo-fencing) to receive an early warning on intrusions? Specified vessels, entering or leaving port or approaching waypoints, whatever is of your interest such can be defined in one or more watch lists. 

Data Integration

The analysis can be performed on any designated data stream. Made Smart offers e.g. worldwide coverage of AIS based vessel movements with a worldwide terrestrial network and satellite observations. Also available is a 10 day weather and sea-state forecast. Made Smart can offer continuously up-to-date nautical charts as a basis for MSG Spotter. The integrated notification service is robust and highly efficient for propagating information to any user with any communication channel (e-mail, sms, mobile app etc.) and on any device you designate. Notifications can be visualized as a message, on a nautical chart view and in the form of time-lines allowing you to have a quick overview of preceding events. MSG Spotter includes a so-called store-and-forward function. If MSG Spotter attempts to deliver a notification, but the device is offline, the notification is stored for a limited period of time, and delivered to the device when it becomes available. MSG Spotter is a robust, highly efficient and scalable notification service.
